Cesarom has produced, for the first time in Romania, the relief floor tiles, visible also nowadays in the Central Railway Station - Gara de Nord and in most of the underground stations, as well as the acid proof bricks resistant to thermal shock, delivered for a great chemical factory in Syria.
Cesarom was also the first factory to introduce a wall tile great format (15x20 cm) on the Romanian market.
The first workshop manual for hand-painted ceramics has also operated in Cesarom, creating unique glaze-painted pictures, made by using the second firing technology.
Cesarom was the first factory to experiment and introduce domestic raw materials in the traditional tiles manufacturing technology: clay, china-clay and feldspar. For many years, all the training and improvement courses in the ceramic industry aggregates and technology field have been made with specialist teachers from Cesarom and the Research Institute for Building Materials.
